BA (Psych), MClinPsych Registered Clinical Psychologist

Hi, I'm Sarah.

I'm a clinical psychologist working with women across Sydney and, through secure video sessions, right around Australia. Much of my work is with women who look like they're coping well on the outside while quietly carrying a great deal underneath.

I believe therapy should feel human, collaborative and useful in everyday life. Sessions are a conversation, not an assessment — we make sense of what's happening together, and build skills you can actually use between appointments.

Before opening Mind & Me, I worked in community mental health and private practice settings, supporting women through anxiety, burnout, becoming a parent and significant life change.

My therapy philosophy

  • A non-judgemental space where you can speak openly
  • Evidence-based approaches, explained in plain language
  • Therapy that moves at your pace, not a set program
  • Practical tools you can use in everyday life

Areas of interest

What women often bring to sessions.

  • Anxiety, worry and burnout
  • Self-esteem and self-criticism
  • Perinatal and postnatal wellbeing
  • Life transitions and identity
  • Relationship and boundary difficulties
  • Stress and work-life balance

Therapeutic approaches

Evidence-based, tailored to you.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Understanding the links between thoughts, feelings and behaviour, and gently shifting unhelpful patterns.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Making room for difficult feelings while taking steps towards what genuinely matters to you.
Compassion-Focused Therapy
Softening a harsh inner critic and building a steadier, kinder relationship with yourself.
Mindfulness-Based Approaches
Simple, practical skills for settling the nervous system and coming back to the present.

The way I work

Therapy that feels human, collaborative and safe.

Good therapy is more than techniques. It begins with feeling heard, understood and able to be yourself. Sessions are shaped around your goals, experiences and pace, combining evidence-based approaches with warmth, curiosity and practical support.
